That meets my requirements! I really didn't need a magnet that strong, but better safe than sorry. At this point it is working as it should. If it doesn't work, no big deal. I will cement the magnets in place. I put a quarter next to the magnet to compare sizes. This item appears to be well constructed, its simple yet elegant appearance. I replaced the small silver keyrings with black ones, I find they go best with my current edc. I gave this item 4 stars for now. If the magnets don't work I will provide an update and either increase or decrease the stars to reflect my satisfaction. I bought this item, it wasn't free and I didn't get a discount for a positive review. Hope that helps.
