Review on 🐶 Premium Pet Bike Basket - DoggyRide Cocoon by Yolanda Johnson

Update 09/16/14: We've been using ours for a few months now. It's really awesome! Once I figured out how to attach it (the original review was based on my inability to do so) it was amazing. Very quick and easy to take off and put back on when I need it. Our 6.5 pound dog suits him perfectly. It took me a little time to get used to the extra weight on the front of the bike, but it's a great way for us to take a pup downtown for dinner if we want to get there quicker than walking. It's also great for delivering items from the farmers market. All in all I really like this basket. 06/02/2014 -- Very good response from the makers of Cocoon with an offer of help. I hope we can make it work with my bike. I will keep you up-to-date! Turns out I didn't crop it properly (I was sent a photo of how it's done and after seeing the photo it's hard to see how wrong I was!). Super quick and very helpful response from them! First Review: The basket itself looks great! Strong internal clip to keep the dog in place, ability to zip up at the top to prevent it from jumping out. All is well. Unfortunately, I rub my mountain bike's tires when it's mounted. To be honest with how it's made I can't understand why it doesn't sag on all bikes. But obviously it worked for others. For us it is completely useless. :-( I didn't keep the packaging so I probably can't return it. Very expensive lesson. I think items like this should be bought at a bike shop where you can drop off your bike and make sure it fits.
