Edit - February 2016 My 13 lb cat found cat food and is now up to 15 lbs. It still fits in the basket! We didn't use the top cap, but we're glad it still works. I would recommend the product so far! My 6.1 pound little Havana LOVES her basket (sometimes she uses it as a bed). She has a lot of freedom of movement. This basket is very durable. The bottom is solid, the edge of the basket is rigid so that the basket does not deform when moving with it on the bike. The quick release mount that stays on the bike is pretty easy to install. Update 09/16/14: We've been using ours for a few months now. It's really awesome! Once I figured out how to attach it (the original review was based on my inability to do so) it was amazing. Very quick and easy to take off and put back on when I need it. Our 6.5 pound dog suits him perfectly.
