Review on 🐶 Premium Pet Bike Basket - DoggyRide Cocoon by Renz Alexandria

My 6.1 pound little Havana LOVES her basket (sometimes she uses it as a bed). She has a lot of freedom of movement. This basket is very durable. The bottom is solid, the edge of the basket is rigid so that the basket does not deform when moving with it on the bike. The quick release mount that stays on the bike is pretty easy to install. I fiddled with it a bit just to make sure the basket and the weight inside didn't tip over. So I had to compensate for this by tilting it slightly. It's not a defect, I think everyone would love to do this to ensure their pup or (cat?) is sitting at floor level. I found that she would curl up when I attached her straps to the short leash inside, so I kept her loose but ALWAYS with the top and zipper closed (when we're not taking breaks I unzip the zipper for her). She moves a little but mostly just walks and watches. I would do a few test rides to get a feel for how your bike would handle with the extra weight up front. It took me about 2 short rides to feel comfortable enough to take it on my usual 3-5 mile trip. Being with her made our bike rides so much more fun and people love seeing her there too. I definitely recommend DoggyRide for right sized dogs.
