I've had this case for about 8 months now. Battery life wasn't an issue for me, but I don't tend to use the keyboard much. When I use it, I've used the battery less than a couple of times. Other times I sometimes leave it on, but even then I haven't had any battery life issues. I usually charge it when I know I've used it for a while. The case itself is solid, a bit bulky, but it holds my iPad securely. I love the color so initially my only complaint was that there was none. I love that I have a pen compartment so I don't have to buy an extra case or case to keep my pen with me and safe. The stand is good for viewing but not suitable for use by an artist at a desk or desk. So I bought a coaster for the times I want to draw and now I have it on my lap. But now my keyboard is very wobbly. However, there are no typos for most of the letters, all characters are swapped. There was no damage or injury that could explain the sudden problem. Now I have to figure out where the character I want is and try to remember it. Tried to unplug, restart, no luck. I've tried the Fn key and the Control key to see if that solves the problem and it still doesn't solve anything. Considering it's ONLY characters, it doesn't make much sense. The rows are jumbled and the order shifted for each one. It's frustrating. Now this keyboard is useless to me as it is nothing more than a case to protect my iPad. Considering the cost I was disappointed when I bought cheaper keyboard cases that never had a problem. Now I see I need to carry around one of my old cases for another iPad (9.7) to make typing easier. I've never felt comfortable typing on the screen because it's inconvenient and takes more time. I tried to find # for customer service but couldn't find anything. I hate leaving disappointing reviews. But aside from the keyboard issue, this was my best case.
