Musty smell on bed pillow

I don't know if this pillow was packed wet or damp, but the smell is so strong I can't stand it on my bed. The tubing around the edges was actually bleeding onto the pillowcase. I left the pillow open to air for several days with no improvement. I would return it but it has puffed up about 4 times its original size and no longer fits in the box it was sent in. It is a pity. This is the firm, heavy pillow I wanted.
