I was hesitant to use the USB mic. I've had a lot of success with lavalier and studio mics with the audio jack, but I really wanted a more versatile setup and needed a different mic. I plugged it in, it worked right away. The stand is just great. It is agile yet stable. The desktop adapter has a pad to protect my tree - a big plus! I'm not sure I'm going to use Pop Scree. But it's nice to have. I did some blind comparisons with a few people to see how it compared to my trusty lavalier mic and it performed at least as well. One liked it better, the other sounded a little worse. I could tell the difference, but both sounded pretty good. I think it works better for a wide dynamic range. I'll be using it in my impromptu studio and will update my review if I run into any issues.
