They are so beautiful to look at
It's hard to be part of a stack when you need coasters because it's so fun to look at them all together. As a neurosurgeon, this is very important to me. Each stand is a "slide" slice of the brain. Actually these are two slides as they place the image on top and the quality on the bottom. I love the added touch of a label on each base that reads "Department of Neuroanatomy 10a". They will be a great gift for all your friends who are interested in science. They work great too, thick and sturdy with little silicon dots that keep them above the furniture's surface.
