Review on Renewed Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming Laptop: 15.6" 144Hz, AMD Ryzen 7-4800H, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, RTX 2060 6GB, Phantom Black by Amar Amar ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturer's assurances, high quality.

Converting RAW on an outdated laptop was an exercise in frustration. It took the U-stone from the blue ones between twenty-five and thirty seconds to convert one frame to JPG, and you can easily bring one hundred from just a simple walk. On desktop computers, AMD stones have long since set the bar for professional applications for goods made by Intel, and if their gaming performance may be lower, it is still sufficient. Yet the market in 2022 is flooded with offers on Intel stones, but there is a significantly smaller selection of AMD products. Taking into consideration the fact that it is preferable to work with photos on a good screen (if there are no plans to work behind an external monitor), then the choice is limited to the Legion 5 alone, which is the only product on the market that comes exclusively with 100% sRGB matrices and at least 300 nits. Screens of a high quality are either not available from HP, Asus, Acer, or MSI, or they can only be found in high-end setups that cost a lot of money. Soon following the completion of the transaction and prior to the initial power-on, a second memory chip was placed (it was installed, not soldered, one module for 8 GB). For the time being, a 512GB SSD will do. The network attached storage (NAS) is where all of the information is kept, which is sufficient for a few toys. The most recent version of Windows did not experience any bugs or malfunctions. After using it for work for two weeks, the laptop has only left positive impressions.

Pros
  • - A good screen that covers the full sRGB color space 100 percent; - Strong internals for a comparatively low price - A powerful battery; - An ergonomic keyboard that includes a numeric pad in addition to the standard arrow keys; - The possibility to add more Memory and solid-state storage; - High-quality plastic, first-rate construction, and an unhurried aesthetic; - The quiet of hard effort; - A multitude of ports for the perimeter;
Cons
  • - The speakers produce an average sound quality; - The overall weight of the device might be reduced;
