Review on Renewed Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming Laptop: 15.6" 144Hz, AMD Ryzen 7-4800H, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, RTX 2060 6GB, Phantom Black by Jun Bak ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The right product for me, the price suited me.

I understand that every laptop has its pros and cons, but when in the cheaper and older Dell G5 5587 the sound was better, the cooling system was better tuned, the keyboard was nicer and better, the case was better in quality, but let this one be all made of plastic and quality, it lacks quite a bit to the title of the best laptop in its class, and I write all this because I had something to compare with, but I'm sure that if this is your first laptop for gaming or for work, it will be the best for you for your money ! I can give him a solid 4 out of 5 and I recommend him P. S My configuration is i7 10750H, RTX 2060, 16Gb, 144Hz IPS screen, Win10, 512Gb SSD

Pros
  • Not a clumsy appearance, such a laptop is not ashamed to be taken out to a cafe, as its appearance resembles a simple working machine! Power and performance at a low price BUT such a low price is not without reason! The compact size and weight, small bezels on the screen, the thickness of the laptop is also quite acceptable for such power, I would even say it's slim! The screen can be opened completely parallel to the body and so you can lie down with it on the sofa and put it on your bent knees! SSD MVMe 512GB for the system! Easy to upgrade, just unscrew the screws and snap off the cover and you have access to everything you need for upgrade and maintenance, the second port for NVMe SSD! The large battery and therefore the battery life for a laptop with this power is also decent in the region of 5-7 hours! The number block on the keyboard is a plus for work! 2 years warranty The body and normal plastic since nothing holds together and does not play BUT below I will indicate why but!
Cons
  • Sound Sound Sound is just a nightmare, very nasty and not expressive, it feels like the speakers were installed from a calculator ! It seems like a decent cooling system with circular air blowing in different directions, but for some reason, when working in the browser and the silence mode is on, I still hear the cooling system exactly and again compare it with my last laptop, where in the balance mode the fans did not start even under light load at watching videos and a bunch of open tabs! The screen did not live up to my expectations, it is better and brighter than in the previous laptop, but I expected more from this 144Hz 8bit matrix, some dullness and not juiciness in the screen! The motherboard is installed from cheap components, as the trend to reduce prices all over the world has begun, there is no Thunderbolt port, no card reader, the maximum amount of RAM is 32 GB, and then I found this information with difficulty through Aida, the memory frequency runs at 2933Mg and is set to 3200! The keyboard on the last laptop was better and more pleasant, it's not bad, but when you get used to the good one, it's hard to get used to the worse one!
