Bought this for my 2011 temporary Coleman Sun Valley camper with a Dometic 2193 refrigerator and am very happy with it, especially in South Texas where the heat is unbearable most of the year. Not sure if Valterra changed the model here, but a very helpful previous review describing how to turn on the thermal switch was not like mine. Mine has the thermal switch mounted inside the fan so it was just a matter of installing the fan, blowing the top vent in the right place in terms of heat dissipation, and connecting the power supply, both of which are very easy was the numerous mounting options that it comes with. Also, the Valterra website states that this fan only blows 12.5 cfm. I would actually say MUCH more. I added a second 120mm 50CFM computer fan and the Valterra blows at least twice as hard. Valterra is actually better than at least two IMO computer fans and cheaper than buying fans, cables, switches, hardware and thermal switches individually in my shopping experience. In my opinion this fan is a great purchase and will go a long way in reducing the temperature in your fridge whilst using it in the hottest climates with very easy installation if at all possible. I will buy it again if mine ever breaks.
