The low ratings for this product are more a problem with the misleading name than with the product itself. The title really shouldn't have the word 'tape' because it just isn't tape. This is a tape. Used for binding/repairing books. It's not sticky at all, but such tape shouldn't be sticky. For bookbinding, this is exactly what it needs and should be, but the name on the product page is just misleading. So if you know what this product is supposed to be, and you are looking for a good bookbinding tape for binding paper signatures with linen thread then this is a very good version of what should be. The only thing I complain about is that there is so little of it. I'd really like to find large spools of this material rather than a measly 60 inch wrapped around a piece of cardboard.
