📚 Linen Binding Tape by Books By Hand: Premium Quality for Sturdy Bookbinding Review

The name suggests it's strapping but it doesn't have an adhesive backing. I had to use double sided scrapbooking tape to attach it to the notebook I was trying to bind. I thought it was wider than it actually was so I had to sew the strips together to use it. It looks like this is only temporarily working the way I wanted it to.

The price is the only thing I don't like about this product and the fact that I don't need a whole roll is the only reason I paid for what I did a small amount of duct tape for this. Duct tape binds my albums MUCH better though. Without tape, when drawing/drawing in a book, you can easily tell where one caption ends and another begins. The low ratings for this product are more a problem with the misleading name than with the product itself. The title really shouldn't have the word 'tape' because it just isn't tape. This is a tape. Used for binding/repairing books. It's not sticky at all, but such tape shouldn't be sticky.
