The price is the only thing I don't like about this product and the fact that I don't need a whole roll is the only reason I paid for what I did a small amount of duct tape for this. Duct tape binds my albums MUCH better though. Without tape, when drawing/drawing in a book, you can easily tell where one caption ends and another begins. Tape can help you tell if you're really looking or know how many sheets are in each signature, but tape makes signatures more consistent and reduces the amount of glue seeping between signatures, or worse, the spacing between signatures. . I highly recommend buying the tape, even though I think it should cost $5 less. In the end it upgrades a mount that will hopefully last a lot longer than I did.
