Review on 🐶 TOMKAS Dog Carrier: The Ideal Small Dog and Puppy Carrier by Jacki Reichmann

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! This is the worst purchase I have ever made from Revain. I bought this carrier to walk my 8 week old puppy. She is not yet strong enough to walk through the forest with me. I tried it by walking around the house for about 30 minutes. This is the most dangerous and thoughtless product I have ever bought. A "guard ring" that can be attached to a puppy's collar to prevent it from popping out. If a collared puppy decides to jump out of an open carrier, it will most likely break its neck. The clip on the safety ring is very cheap and hard to come by. Attachment to the pup should be done with Velcro or at least a quick release buckle. This carrier should NEVER be used by a collared puppy. It is only safe if the pup has a harness. The length of the shoulder strap is not adjustable. It should be adjustable to allow the puppy's weight to rest on the hips to relieve the owner's neck and give the puppy some support. The shoulder strap has no internal structure, so the weight is not distributed over the shoulder but concentrated at one point on the neck. In the photo of the product you can see the fold of the shoulder strap on the neck of the model. The entire weight of the puppy falls on this crease of the owner's neck. Uncomfortable after a few minutes, painful after ten minutes. The material of the stretcher is breathable, but very cheap, thin and light. I doubt it will last more than a few weeks with regular use by a normally active pup. I also doubt it will hold up to a wash. I'm guessing there's not even a dollar's worth of materials in this thing that costs $17 (cheap starting at $39 - god I'm an idiot). The bag is not needed for anything. It has a narrow opening that closes with a very cheap zipper. My 5s i phone barely fits in the hole. It then falls to the bottom of a 6 inch deep pocket and is difficult to recover. When the phone is removed, the pocket lining is revealed with the phone and anything else stored in the pocket. AMAZON STOPS SELLING THIS THING!
