Kyocera makes different versions of this rugged phone for different major network operators. But this one, Dura XV LTE, is the only one that supports WIFI in my opinion. At least that's what I found out in my research. So if you love exploring places where cell phone coverage is spotty but you have WiFi access, this little flip phone is for you. If you're stuck on Verizon's cheap $30 prepaid plan with only 500MB of data, WIFI is a great feature. It's not like roaming the web with its crude browser and controls, but if you absolutely need to check email, search maps, etc., you can do it with ease. and tired of replacing your smartphone every 12-18 months due to falls, water or paranoia, if you enjoy the great outdoors then this is the phone you need. And if you're tired of having a complicated world at your fingertips and want to ditch your smartphone but still need internet access, then that's fine too. You just do it a lot less because it's not that easy! That's all I wanted. I'm excited to rock the clamshell phone again!
