My previous digital gauge broke about the third time - the nozzle was plastic. This one is much stronger, with a metal nozzle pointing straight ahead, making it easier for me to get a good seal on the valve stem. And unlike my old one, this one sticks to whatever reading you prefer (psi in my case) and doesn't require you to cycle through all the others each time you use it. AAA batteries are also required, which are easy to replace. Interestingly, after checking a tire, this reading is held for about 30 seconds, which is roughly the time it takes to put the valve stem cap back on and move on to the next tire, and then reset to zero for the next check. My only complaint is that there is no pin on the gauge to let some air out of the tire if needed.
