UPDATE: I ended up hanging these lights from the garage (refer to photo). I had more than enough length, so I swaged them back. I think they really cheered up the space and created an even better ambiance by the fire pit.ORIGINAL REVIEW: These HBN Outdoor Incandescent String Lights are a lot smaller than I was expecting for patio lights. They are about the size of a walnut. They are cute and still look like patio lights, just probably better suited for stringing along a fence or in a tree due to their size. I personally prefer the real large bulbs for over a patio. The cord and sockets on these lights are all black plastic. The bulbs are glass. The light bulbs still get power through the cord even if one of the bulbs is missing from the strand. You do have to assemble the whole set, which is why I took a star off. I’ve bough so many lights over the years and never had to put the bulbs in the sockets.they always came ready to hang. And considering that there are 50 feet of tiny bulbs, it’s a lot of work. Other than that, this is a great set if you want smaller bulbs.
