This project went better than expected. The product works great. It was one of the few 65-foot sets that danced to music, had a phone app, and could be controlled with Google Home. My daughter wanted them for her room, I didn't want the unsightly messy decor you see all over the internet. I went to the hardware store and bought some white vinyl siding called the J-Channel. See photo of installation. I hung the J-channel with the command hooks and attached the LED lighting inside. It turned out pretty perfect! The remote control is fully functional with many options. The LED is bright. The tape on the back stuck well to my vinyl. I had a question about the installation, support answered me in about 12 hours. And yes, you can cut every 3 onions to length, which is about every 8 inches. Overall a positive experience with this product. Just two suggestions. It takes a longer power cord to reach the outlets when the lights are near the ceiling. I fixed this by purchasing a 16 foot 4 pin cable that runs between the lights and the control box. Another suggestion is to make the application more comprehensive. The app allows you to set the light to any color you want, but only a transition mode with no music modes in the app. So far fully satisfied with this product.
