I spent hours setting up Wi-Fi. I have an Orbi Wi-Fi system and have spent hours broadcasting it on 2.4. I tried everything I could from telenet to walking half a mile from home. There was a tip about connecting manually. I couldn't find a way to do this. In very small blue letters there is a link to connect manually. This is not in the instructions and is difficult to see without perfect vision. After finding the instructions I had it wired up in minutes. You should really rewrite the instructions and enable a manual connection in the options. Once I was connected, it was also connected to Alexa. It was very easy to plan. I am ordering another one so I can control the pool heat separately from the pump. The device gets 5 stars, but the instructions 1/2 stars. The path to the device settings was also more difficult than it should have been due to the instructions. Again not difficult but the instructions don't mention how to get to the settings. Now that you know the secret method, you will have no problem setting it up. UPDATE I bought a second device with instructions. The first had no instructions and was difficult for me to set up. This installed itself. Enter the network information and Wi-Fi was found immediately. With instructions I give 5 stars. I think the first device was a throwback because I had to use an impact wrench to loosen the grommets and no instructions. I connected one to the pool pump and the other to the heater. The pump is scheduled for every day and I turn on the heating when I need it. They work great together.
