Difficult to set up but works great and has good features once installed.

Used as a control unit for electric water heaters. The old timer was out of order and the wife wanted something she could turn on without running down to the basement at unprogrammed times. The device wasn't difficult to set up, but it takes a lot of effort to connect to your WiFi. The instructions say to place the device next to the router when connecting, which is not possible when connecting and mounting. Had to go through manual setup instead of auto linking. After figuring out the rest ofโ€ฆ

Good Components - Terrible Case

I've been looking for a smart pool timer for a while and this one seemed to fit the bill - it was affordable and had decent reviews. And when I installed it, the components in it work fine! The smartphone app is decent, Alexa works so no complaints. The relay and smart hub work well and are stable - the case they are in is terrible. Other reviews have a good weatherproof case that is the right size. The one I received wasn't weatherproof (there's no weatherstrip on the door and the bottom isโ€ฆ

Secret way to connect

I spent hours setting up Wi-Fi. I have an Orbi Wi-Fi system and have spent hours broadcasting it on 2.4. I tried everything I could from telenet to walking half a mile from home. There was a tip about connecting manually. I couldn't find a way to do this. In very small blue letters there is a link to connect manually. This is not in the instructions and is difficult to see without perfect vision. After finding the instructions I had it wired up in minutes. You should really rewrite theโ€ฆ
