I first bought these when I was preparing baby food for my son and sending him to daycare. While I would love to use glass, its center would not allow it. So I went with them after much research. Four years later, I'm still using the ones I bought back then. I bought this batch for my mum who was having surgery on her dominant hand and was struggling to use any utensils/plastic containers. You can open them with ONE HAND! The perfect solution for you. Even if she drops the lock and lock, it won't spill! So she's been using them for groceries as well as her vitamins and meds (she lives alone and doesn't have to bother with childproof caps!). They're machine washable, airtight (yet!), can be used in the fridge/freezer, and appear to be microwave safe (although I don't). You will love them.
