Great little document camera for the price! The video I posted here is a 30 second portion of a tutorial video I made for an online course I teach. I use a much more expensive Elmo document camera at work, but I wanted a camera for home use. The colors and details on this camera are actually better than the more expensive camera I use at work. I used Camtasia Studio software to capture video directly from my computer screen. It is important to note that the IPEVO camera itself does NOT record video. To record videos, you need an additional program that records your computer screen. The video I'm attaching was originally shot at IPEVO 1600x1200 for the best resolution, but I only captured the 800x600 portion of the screen. I used the +2 exposure setting in the IPEVO software window to brighten the video overall. I also disabled continuous focus as this forces the camera to focus between the paper and my hand. I created a video in Windows Media Video format (.wmv). I converted a copy of the video to 400x300 so I can upload it here. I'm not sure what will happen to the quality once it has gone through the process Revain uses for their video reviews. The original video is crystal clear! Overall I am very impressed with this camera!
