I ordered and received this small screen to use as a system monitor for my setup. Basically like a tiny second screen. Very easy to connect, just plugged straight into the USB and HDMI sockets on the back of my computer and Windows 10 recognized it in seconds. The included cables were pitifully short for my purposes, although that wasn't a problem considering most of us have extra cables these days. The display wasn't even bad. I was able to easily extend my desktop to it and up the resolution to 1920x1080, although I wouldn't recommend it as everything is almost unreadable at this point. Does not ship with I/O shield over connectors, board and connectors are exposed on this side. There is also no on/off switch. All in all, it's worth the low price for me, as this device is suitable for special needs. How long it will take? I think it will take a year.
