I got this display for an internet radio I'm building with a Raspberry Pi 3b+. I first tried the Raspi's official 5-inch touchscreen, but it had too low a resolution and was very slow. I like that the product came pre-installed, installing the stands was easy to use. However, the touchscreen cable is not long enough and may not work in some applications. Please note that the touchscreen requires driver installation and comes with a CD only. In general, I liked the product, and the price is excellent.

I ordered and received this small screen to use as a system monitor for my setup. Basically like a tiny second screen. Very easy to connect, just plugged straight into the USB and HDMI sockets on the back of my computer and Windows 10 recognized it in seconds. I set up my Raspberry Pi, adjusted all my settings and then the screen went white. I thought it might be a Raspberry Pi so I tried 2 other devices; Laptop and Nintendo Switch. The screen won't accept input from either, and the Pi continues to output to other screens via HDMI. I have contacted the company and also Revain and have not received a replacement. I just want a screen that works. Now I have a $100 dim panel.

Absolutely amazing technique. Turns my Mac into a touchscreen. I bought this primarily for video editing and my timeline, but I've found many other uses for it. It's accurate too. The picture is very clear. It works very well with the capacitive touchscreen and the colors are very pleasing. Excellent purchase!

I only ordered based on the pictures. I know it was silly, the product description itself is clear for a 7 inch screen size, but I was naive and trusted the images for scale. THIS SCREEN IS NOT AS BIG AS IT LOOKS IN THE PHOTO. My hand could completely cover the entire screen. Other than that, it worked well and I didn't have any problems with the touchscreen (except that it's so small).

Works with all HDMI sources? Not even close. I hooked it up to the analog HD to HDMI converter output that delivers 1080i video from my Canon XH-A1 and the thing just said "No Signal". I made sure the signal is ok because it works with my Atomos Ninja V. Don't buy it if you want 1080i compatibility.

It was a good screen for the Raspberry Pi. It also has a nice case on the back that houses a Raspberry Pi. As with all Pi projects, it takes some time to set up, but once complete it's a good package.
