Touch works with Mac OS Sierra but NOT with Catalina

I'm using Mac OS Sierra and the touch functions work great, as does the image. Unfortunately, the touchscreen doesn't work with Catalina, at least not without an expensive third-party driver. The image is displayed but the touch functions do not respond. I'm a musician and I have a Mac Mini installed under my pedalboard. This screen allows me to hide my Mac and not use my mouse or external keyboard with it (if necessary, I use the Mac's onscreen keyboard, like on an iPad). It's cheaper and much more powerful than an iPad since you can skip playing in the app and just use real DAWs. It couldn't be more elegant. The downside, aside from the Mac OS 10.15 compatibility issues mentioned above, is that the colors are a bit odd, with some greens looking chalky and highly luminous. Other colors are a little different, a little closer to yellow, but to be honest, if I was going to work with it for image or video editing, I still wouldn't choose such a small screen. I think there is a color menu somewhere where I could probably tweak it a bit, but I don't need it.

Pros
  • The unit comes with all the necessary cables and basic instructions/information on the included CD.
Cons
  • This is not a touch screen, do not buy it. It's not 7 inches, but 5.5 inches.
