That's exactly what I wanted.
I was a bit confused at first because there were a lot of spare parts and no instructions. I have a BMW r1250r with a Garmin GPS stand. I simply removed the cover and replaced it with a phone mount. Didn't need any extra nuts/bolts/wires etc. It comes with a multipurpose USB connector but I used a regular (4 inch) iPhone cable. It connects to the mount and charges my phone while I drive. I hope they make a version with wireless charging soon. I would be against.
