This mattress cover was my third try and it was a charm. I wanted the mattress to be thick enough to add a little extra softness to my Nectar mattress. I was looking for a 1" topper but they are hard to find. I came across this product and decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. This is exactly what I wanted. My only caveat is that it didn't expand to an inch and a half, just an inch and a half, but that's fine with me as I originally wanted it to be just an inch thick.My Nectar mattress is a bit soft but very hard in the middle so that's fine I had pain in the pressure points. This topper has cured that and he sleeps very well. There is no heating which is great as sometimes I get hot when I sleep. The first 2 toppers I tried were sent back. The first one was too soft at 3" thick and the second was a standard 2" thick concrete-like foam. I'm so glad I tried this remedy on my third try. It's just the right thickness and d softness to complement those pressure points without being so thick that it's difficult to move. If you're looking for a little padding to add to an already fairly comfortable mattress, give this one a try.
