It says it's a Bluetooth device and I figured I could just pair it with a Denon receiver to play the sound in other rooms without any problems. Instead you have to install their atrocity app on your phone, go through numerous updates, then I still can't play anything from my receiver. Even when it says it's using my receiver as input and is playing (which you stupidly have to control via their awful app), no sound is played. Another option is to subscribe to their crazy service so you can play various streaming services from your phone - but I already have a stereo that does that, I just wanted a remote speaker. UPDATE - after two hours of fiddling I finally got it working. The kicker, however, is that I don't know why it worked. I didn't do anything and then it just started playing randomly. The new annoying aspect of this is that you can't just toggle it on and off. When I'm streaming music from my TV/Home Theater I want it on, when I'm just watching a show I want it off, but I can't just turn it off, you have to go to your stupid mobile app to control this.
