Review on Train Your Pet With Ease: LONABR Dog Potty Tray With Post And Wall For Efficient Potty Training by Nikki Ramsey

Not great quality good for me

I've ordered several puppy potties as my dog has grown. He's now four pounds and about five months old. This one has been, by far, the worst quality. It works, but it feels flimsy. Also, mine arrived warped, so it won't sit flat on the floor, which is going to be inconvenient for the puppy as well as making it difficult to train him to use it. The design is flawed as well. I was looking for a larger potty with a wall for a male puppy who has started lifting his leg, as well as one that would be easy to clean. This seemed to fit the bill in the advertising, but it really doesn't. The base size of the unit is much larger than the actual usable space inside. So space is already reduced, and then the wall is held upright by prongs that stick into the squares of the grate, which means that the wall doesn't fit up against the back edge of the potty - you have to use up potty real estate to support the wall. There isn't enough space left for even my four pound dog to both have space to poo AND to use the little aiming tower - which didn't matter, because my tower arrived with one of the prongs to hold it upright already broken off. It still could be attached less securely, but my puppy loves to chew and would've ended up pulling it off so I didn't bother. Another design flaw is that it uses a separate grate from the cream plastic edges, (the pink grate sits directly on top of the pad, with no spacers to lift it) and so you have to pick the grate up separately to change the pad. That's different than other potties, where the grate is usually integrated into the top border of the unit, and this design makes changing it when it's been used much less hygienic, since you're handling the area the puppy has used directly, rather than just lifting up on a handle or the border of the holder. I'll probably look around to find another one that's better designed and of better quality, but this will work fine until I receive it. It's not awful, just meh, and has too many aggravations I simply don't want to deal with.

Pros
  • 🐶KEEP PAWS DRY:With the gird to filtrate.Don't worry about fouling your pet.Pee will flow directly into the pee pad holder.
Cons
  • The LONABR Dog Potty Tray takes up a significant amount of space and may not be suitable for small apartments or homes with limited outdoor access. If you're looking for a more compact or discreet option, this may not be the best choice for you
