Review on Revitalizing Haircare Duo: Suave Professionals Almond and 💆 Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner Set - 12.6 Oz Ea. by Kim Lane

My rating is for Almond Shea Butter, right on the list. Most of the reviews here are for rosemary mint, not almond shea butter. I've been using this combo for years and my hair hasn't changed in all those years. I've always had a lot of thin long hair that was never dyed or chemically treated. I loved this combo and would give it 5 stars. It has great ingredients for such an inexpensive product, not all ingredients are natural but many are natural. I don't know if they changed the formula a bit or what happened. But this combination now leaves my scalp greasy, itchy and inflamed while my bottom hair is dry, rough and frizzy. I was literally constantly itching and rubbing my head! It no longer untangles and I now have to spend a lot more time combing the knots. My hair used to be smooth, soft, shiny and bouncy, but now it feels dry, rough and strawy! My hair is also falling out a lot more than usual as I am seeing a huge increase in hair loss from showering and brushing and drying. Also, hair is constantly falling on my body, on the floor, on the bed, etc., to the point where my husband even noticed it was becoming a problem. It left the longest lasting scent in my hair and even other people complimented me on how good it smelled! Now after drying there is no smell. I asked my husband and family, but they agreed it just smelled like normal, clean hair. I am very disappointed and will now be looking for a new shampoo and conditioner. I tried the rosemary mint version but it wasn't any better. It didn't make my hair as greasy as the almond shea butter is more moisturizing. But overall it was just as bad. If Suave changed something, I want them to change it again! I was ready to be a customer for life - I loved it that much! Too bad :( Update: It has been many months since I stopped using this shampoo/conditioner and I have used several other popular drug store brands. My scalp is no longer itchy/sore or oily and my hair fall is back to normal on all of them ..thought maybe the itching/pain and overexposure was an accident due to some factor other than Suave and didn't want to waste it.So I decided to drink the rest of the bottle.No!All those problems raged back - itchy ones , sore, greasy, increased hair loss I don't know what's in these Suave products but I'm officially never using them again!
