Review on Enhanced Safety and Training with CollarDirect Reflective Dog Collar Martingale Collars by Ginger Peterson

Looks like a good collar but the chain broke in less than 2 weeks. We originally ordered a large (1 inch wide with a decent chain size) for our two Pitbull mixes that seemed strong enough but were too big for their necks. So I ordered a drug that's only 3/4 inch long with a small chain, probably meant for a much smaller dog, half the weight and strength of our 55 pound pits. If I had the opportunity to order material in 1 inch I would. I was lucky that the collar broke while playing sports in the garden and not during a walk in the neighborhood. The collar was primarily used as a safety net with a Hermspringer spiked collar on outdoor walks and again I was fortunate that this did not happen on a real walk. So if you have a large dog with a smaller neck, look for a brand. which has a collar of at least 1 inch with a thicker chain to avoid breakage.
