Convenient, durable and improved design

I have used Ardwolf (old model A20) for 5 years and I chose it again because of the convenience of fingerprint unlocking and A50 is the only lock I can find , which can close both holes in the door. So far I'm impressed with the build quality and the improvement over the old model. Highlight: * Very easy installation: No drilling required if only the latch and deadbolt were previously installed on the door. It's important to have a lock with a plate big enough to cover both holes so I don't have to look for another lock of the same color. since all the controller ICs are on the front (the old model has more than 10 wires).* Very easy operation: with a text menu on the OLED screen, I don't even need to remove the manual for common tasks like add/user. Big upgrade over the old model which only had two digit LEDs on the back. * Waterproof: Very thoughtful to add a rubber gasket between the faceplate and the door. * No WiFi, no Bluetooth: Yes, that's a highlight for me. Lockdown isn't a phone, fewer wireless connections mean less attack surface and longer battery life. I've never needed a remote lock/unlock as I can easily add a temporary passcode in advance to share with guests. Thanks to the convenience of fingerprint unlocking, I've gotten into the habit of always leaving the door closed and locked, even when I'm checking my mailbox a few steps away. which doesn't really matter.
