This product works GREAT! I was skeptical, but after plugging it in and setting it up (seriously just a few scans) it works flawlessly with Windows 10's biometric framework. I almost forgot it was there. This just became part of my login workflow on my system. I also configured it to work with LastPass. Nice touch fingerprint scanner that works well. There are times when it takes a while for the screen to unlock, but I'm pretty sure it's a Windows 10 issue, either waking the computer to the splash screen or going to the lock screen. The reason I believe is that if I manually press the button and wait for the lock screen to appear and then press my finger on the Bio Key, it happens almost immediately. At $40 compared to the $149 Verifi, that's not a problem anyway, and it supports plug-and-play

After successful installation, Biokey reader did exactly what I wanted. It works pretty reliably for me once I figure out you have to hold your finger for about a second. This may seem a bit annoying, but in practice it is still significantly faster than entering a password. It's just not as fast as my iPhone.
