After successful installation, Biokey reader did exactly what I wanted. It works pretty reliably for me once I figure out you have to hold your finger for about a second. This may seem a bit annoying, but in practice it is still significantly faster than entering a password. It's just not as fast as my iPhone. (Although I have said that my iPhone is overly sensitive to minor changes in my finger, such as from home improvement). This is because this reader implements the Windows biometric framework, which is essentially used to log into Windows. However, it looked pretty annoying. after all, I love logging into Windows with my fingerprint!
