I bought a set to try them out to see if I like them. They are very bright but not obtrusive. Cable management is also very easy if you put them on the detolf shelf, only thin cable ties are needed. One of the nice things about this set is that it comes with six rods. The Detolf shelves only have four sections, but I got creative and added two extra slats at the top to light up the figures I placed on top! I have to say these LED lights make my characters stand out so much more and complement them so well! Would definitely buy them again for my other Detolf!
