Super-Fast and Easy Reading
The reading seems to be instantaneous, or at least a few seconds for high temperature products, and as far as I can tell it's accurate. I've used it to check food coming out of the fryer and also out of the oven. Very easy to use, just pull the metal wire out of the case and it turns on and is easy to read. Inexpensive, easy to clean (just wipe the tip) and the red color made it easy to find in my stuffed utensil drawer.

This meat thermometer can measure a wide range from -58β to 572β to meet the temperature measurement needs of most foods. Instant-read meat thermometers can also record temperature with the "HOLD" button. The meat thermometer features a 1.75 inch LCD screen, making it easy to read the temperature.
