Review on CFS COMPLETE FILTRATION SERVICES EST 2006 Kitchen & Dining and Water Coolers & Filters by Daniel Steele

This product has been fine for the last few years to recent orders. 2 out of 3 orders, 1 filter out of 2 did not fit in the filter housing. That means HALF THE PRODUCT wasn't good. I'm not sure what changed, but the mesh around the filter is also missing. It's not that it changes how the filter works, it's just that I didn't have a problem with the ones that had a grid. I'm just saying someone else is collecting them now. What happened is the ends are glued and they must not have been glued properly because my filter housing cover was not screwed all the way down. Therefore, when I turned on the water, the case would not close and water would spray in all directions. When this first happened I thought it was an isolated case. But then it happened again and now I've lost faith that quality control is where it should be. I don't spend money on a 2 pack and having 1 in a pack won't work. From now on I will order a filter from the water softener manufacturer. It's exactly the same price. I don't skimp on Amazon.
