One word of advice before installing this phone holder: Have a damp, lint-free cloth or rag available. You will need it. The suction cup has a layer of sticky rubberized plastic for better grip. It works, but damn it sticks to EVERYONE and everything. Cat hair, dust, lint, you name it, and if it's within reach, it'll land on the suction cup. However, once you get rid of the accumulated dirt on the suction cup, it's pretty damn effective. It sticks to both the dash and windshield (we ended up going for the windshield), is easy to install and adjust, and holds your phone well even when your car hits a pothole or bumpy road (our latest Phone). Owner had a habit of accidentally dropping or throwing the phone when it hit the target).
