Review on Gingher Large Handle Embroidery Scissors - 4 Inch (Model 01-005271) by Doug Destruction

As sewing/embroidery scissors, Jinger's rule, full stop. For this price you get an excellent product that will accompany you for a lifetime. All my life growing up we had a hundred scissors at home. My mom has a pair of Gingers (now over 35 years old) that are ONLY for cutting fabric. If she caught me cutting paper or something, my life would be over! Luckily she rarely caught me cutting anything else, but they cut everything like a champ. Everyone wanted to use ginghers because they are amazing. I can't explain it, you just have to try it yourself. She still has the scissors and is already struggling with what can and cannot be cut with them and they work just as well as the day she got them, despite the many, many years and miles behind them . . Because of my memories of my mother's Gingers, when I was looking for good embroidery scissors, I immediately came across Ginghers. The fact that they have large diameter handles makes them much better for me as someone with big hands and was a good option compared to standard embroidery scissors. At this price there's no excuse not to own them, they even come with a small leather case. I have always trusted Fiskars for general purpose scissors. So I bought Fiskars 4" embroidery scissors at the same time as Ginghers. Fiskars are great, I have many pairs and am happy with all of them. Fiskars cuts out all of Ginghers, but Ginghers has a tactile feedback that defies description. You must use them to appreciate them and for a few extra bucks I highly recommend this Ginger makes slicing exciting.
