Works great and accurate

Tire inflation worked perfectly. Have only used it on 10 tires on my tractor so far but seems to be well made. I have 2 other digital gauges and this 1 was within 0.2psi of the other readings I took. Use tape on the connector you need to assemble when it arrives. All you need is a small wrench to tighten it. As some other reviews have pointed out, it takes a minute for the latch to engage on the valve stem. They are externally inflated because the tire is pushing against them so I had to use 2…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Long delivery time

If you have any doubts between this item and the 'Garage Ready Inflator' that Revain also sells with Prime, do yourself a favor and get an EPAuto pump (this item ). This inflator has solid brass hardware, includes batteries, and a rubber o-ring that actually seals your valve stem. The "other" is cheap, with cheap fittings and a nylon washer instead of an o-ring, which doesn't seal the valve, and a cheap clamp doesn't hold it tight enough to seal. I first bought a ready-made pump for the…

Good accurate inflator/gauge

Benefits Large easy to read display Comfortable grip with solid lever Check valve adapter Take it or leave it Long hose is good but half the length works just the same. I've used a simple, lockable angle nozzle for many years. Very small footprint, very durable, and I haven't found a valve it doesn't work on yet. This straight adapter is great for car and truck tires, but bikes can be tight and others (barrel wheels, garden tractors, some utility tires) just won't work. I think I can get a hose

Beware! Broken LCD / Very hot battery Problem

The product is well made on the outside but not on the inside. I put in the factory batteries for the first time and watched the display turn on, then the LCD won't turn on. I thought I had bad batteries so I wanted to replace them with a new set of batteries. When I open the battery cover to take out the original batteries, one of them was very hot. It was so hot I couldn't touch it with my fingers. I had to pry the battery out with a screwdriver. I thought the battery might be bad so I put in

Waste of money Best in Tools & Equipment

I bought this inflation/tire gauge a while ago. I've used it a few times (3, maybe 4) and it always drained the batteries pretty quickly. Not worth returning and not worth replacing. So I just took out the batteries and installed them as needed, which wasn't very often. So today I had to inflate a tire on my car. I figured that shouldn't be a problem, just put the batteries in and it should work the same as last year. Be surprised, be surprised, not to the point! I placed the batteries in the…

Good tire inflator but bad reading and good sealing problem

I received this item on time as promised. However, I haven't used it yet. In general, the product looks good and is made of quality material. I will post a new review after my first attempt to install this item with my air compressor. Update >>> Overall, I really like the aesthetics of this tire inflator and have been using it to fuel my truck for a couple of weeks. and car tires. However, every time I used it, I always got inaccurate sensor readings. Is that a bad thermometer? I…

Not for precision applications

This may work well for certain applications, but I found it very annoying when connected to my porter cable flat compressor for the following reasons: 1) connection to what I was pumping, was bad and leaking so I had to hold the nipple on the inflation valve with one hand to pump it up. 2) You can't modulate air flowers because by gently squeezing the handle, you release air from what you pour into it. 3) Basically it's either a full bang with the trigger fully pulled or it's blown away. I had…

My choice from many I've tried.

I've compared this inflator to a Hausfield Campbell analog, EPAuto analog and ABN digital gauge for $70 and this is my favorite. After a month of service here are some pros and cons, mostly compared to ABN: PROS: - Comes with quick connector and gasket already, some complain it leaks but I have and I don't suspect these users have over tightened it have the connection - turns on automatically with backlight when you press on the valve stem, turns on fairly quickly too, some mixed reviews here…

It will work if you are diligent enough to fix its problems.

I bought this product because I needed a tire chuck, filler/emptier and digital gauge all in one unit and it was the only one I could find. It comes partially disassembled but is easy to assemble. Simply screw the flexible hose with a locking cartridge on one end into the valve port on the handle and screw the included air hose quick disconnect connector into the bottom of the handle. Do not overtighten as the handle is plastic and the threads will break if you overtighten. No over-tightening…
