Review on ๐Ÿš— EPAUTO 255 PSI Tire Inflator with Digital Gauge, Hose, and Quick Connect Plug by Chris Moody

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My choice from many I've tried.

I've compared this inflator to a Hausfield Campbell analog, EPAuto analog and ABN digital gauge for $70 and this is my favorite. After a month of service here are some pros and cons, mostly compared to ABN: PROS: - Comes with quick connector and gasket already, some complain it leaks but I have and I don't suspect these users have over tightened it have the connection - turns on automatically with backlight when you press on the valve stem, turns on fairly quickly too, some mixed reviews here which confuse me - has a battery status indicator, no ABN - although the matte plastic finish is nice to the touch and seems to be quite durable - The display is bright as day, ABN was hard to read and the backlight didn't turn on automatically, it also bled into the bezel making it hard to read. Contains 4 units of measurement. ABN only two. The surface is slightly larger. intuitive at least the unit toggle icon, which you'll only use to use the buttons at all (did I mention it turns itself on?) CONS: - The lock on the cartridge is definitely a weakness of things and tends to tends to leak on some of my valve stems, and depending on the wheel if you don't align it properly it can scratch its surface, I would recommend replacing it with a bushing, you can use a "lock-on chuck" find a replacement. - Plastic! It would be nice if this thing was metal but feels nice in hand and finish, I just hope it doesn't become a durability issue later on. There seems to be about a 1psi difference compared to other sensors (ABN and Accugauge).
