I bought this inflation/tire gauge a while ago. I've used it a few times (3, maybe 4) and it always drained the batteries pretty quickly. Not worth returning and not worth replacing. So I just took out the batteries and installed them as needed, which wasn't very often. So today I had to inflate a tire on my car. I figured that shouldn't be a problem, just put the batteries in and it should work the same as last year. Be surprised, be surprised, not to the point! I placed the batteries in the back of the sensor as before. The sensor lit up as before. Then (surprise) the lights go out and the thing gets so hot it took me a screwdriver to pry the batteries out. FULLY FRIED sensor and digital innards. So it goes in the trash, you shouldn't mess with it. By the way, the faucet has always been leaking from day one. The only quality this thing has is LOW quality. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER.
