Surprisingly well thought out product for the price. Setup was easy, I used the charging cable that came with my Apple Watch, wrapped it around the speaker, then plugged it into the USB port behind the speaker and closed the device. Back then, it was as simple as plugging in a base. You have to be careful when placing your phone and AirPod case on mats, but there are LED indicators to keep you informed. Wait for it to turn green, it only takes a second or two and you're done. Like me, if you place your phone's screen on the mat first, the LED will nudge you by flashing red. How considerate! Tldr is exactly what I needed and I'm glad I didn't have to pay as much as other solutions ($110+)
