Can't believe this will be the first review. I don't usually buy anything without reading the reviews, but after reading the positive reviews for the wired version I took a chance. I've never used a polisher before but after watching a few videos I felt comfortable with it. I used about 1 battery and half the others to polish a mid-size SUV so it was enough for most weekend detailers. Claimed 60-minute charge and 45-minute usage time can extend the usage time. It also comes with a cigarette lighter charger so you can work remotely. The kit contains the basics for most beginners and so far I've only used one sponge. It also had other items and an apron that I could use while grilling. I might even polish my Weber kettle grill this summer! I also just bought a cordless polisher that fits the smaller 1, 2, and 3 inch pads to get into areas where the 4 inch pads are too big. I'm a bit disappointed that the batteries aren't interchangeable. All in all, a good purchase and hopefully a long service life.
