Review on Logitech MX Keys Wireless Keyboard Black, English by Wiktor Uhlig ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

I urgently needed a keyboard of exactly the bluetooth version, the choice of which turned out to be surprisingly small. I doubted for a long time, after all, the price of the keyboard is quite high, but a large number of positive reviews convinced me, besides, there were not so many options available in local stores. The keyboard looks light but is actually heavy, VERY for a keyboard that looks so flat. This was a pleasant surprise: the keyboard stands on the table like a glove, does not travel on the surface even with intense irritated typing :) Slightly unusual location of the Fn function key compared to a laptop, and Cntrl right next to it, and at first it constantly touched it instead of Cntrl. From a similar one, for some reason, when blindly typing, I constantly touch the key with a slash, which is located near the main "Enter" key: on the laptop keyboard, the letter "E" is located immediately next to "Enter", and here between "Enter" and "E" there is a key with slash until she got rid of the habit of hurting her. I personally have no complaints about lighting, I work near the window during the day, and I don’t need it, but in the evening it’s great. Compared to the vigorous red backlight of the laptop, it is very personal. F-keys and keys above the number pad can be reconfigured through Logitech software for this keyboard. Personally, I periodically need the Pause / break key in my work, it is not on the keyboard, and I personally did not manage to configure it through the Logitheca software: it was not in the list of options. This is a small minus, but not critical, there is a keyboard shortcut Fn + B. The sound of pressing is pleasant to the ear (rather loud), slightly springy under the fingers. The operating time is completely satisfied: after removing it from the box for the first time, charging was needed in two weeks.

Pros
  • - convenience of blind typing - backlight - workmanship - wireless operation time - the ability to work while the keyboard is charging
Cons
  • - unusual location of the Fn key - no Pause/Break key
