Cats generally do not like harnesses and leashes even if they are trained to accept them. Because of this, you want the lightest, least intrusive setup that will keep the cat safe. Unfortunately this harness is more like a dog harness - it's too heavy for a cat - the large snap buckles are bulky and when they snap together startle skittish cats. The straps are over-reinforced with 1/2" thick woven material and the leash/leash is the same material with a heavy metal buckle that connects to the harness. Would probably make a great collar, but I don't think it's for cats suitable is.
