Review on Comfort and Style Combined: Teva Tirra Halcon Burnt Olive Women's Shoes by Brian Wersching

Revainrating 1 out of 5

So much. Blow.

I've hiked and worn Tevas for the last 25 years and walked hundreds of miles in them so many without breaking a single one. In June I ordered a new pair of Revains to wear on my trip around the Pacific Northwest. I wore them at the start of a 6 mile hike and was limping for mile 3 due to blisters. I've never had to break in my Tevas, especially since it's the same style I've worn for so many years. I took it upon myself to break them, so I let my feet heal for a few weeks and then tried again, still on the trip. Again blisters on the top and bottom of the foot. I used my shoes for the rest of the trip and tried them on for the third time today at home in Minnesota. I have SO many blisters on my legs I can barely walk. I literally took off my sandals and walked barefoot for the last half mile because it was less painful. I'm so sad that this happened as Teva is the only hiking sandal I've ever bought. I don't have a box or receipt as I was sure of my purchase but now I do. I can't wear them anymore.

Pros
  • Sport sandals & flip flops
Cons
  • Hard to say
