All the balls are separate pieces. You need to attach the arms and legs to the dinosaur's body. They also require quite a bit of air to fill, so be prepared for that. When attaching the limbs, make sure they are securely attached. They come out fairly easily, so have some tape handy to prevent air from escaping. They were too heavy to float in the air so I ended up gluing them to the table. It was for my son's fourth birthday and they looked so good! It remains to deal with the excesses. Overall I would recommend them if you only need them for a short time.
