I like this product. It is an elegant and extremely durable design. I mainly use it to store our homemade almond milk and I'm mainly writing this review to share my experience, especially unlike the other two reviews. As for the sides dripping off the spout, I've rarely, if ever, used a pitcher that doesn't drip from time to time. Some don't even water properly from every angle. It's not one of them. It pours beautifully and like many other jugs, if you rub a drop or two under the spout with a cloth or even your finger, the drips don't run down the sides etc. Pretty easy and quite often in my experience. 2. About cleaning: One review mentioned that residual liquid/particles get stuck in the lid's locking mechanism and cannot be cleaned. That's partly true, except for one aspect that the reviewer must have overlooked, which I also know at first. The top of the lid has a "knob" that rotates to close and open the jar. This handle actually snaps off, allowing the lid to be disassembled into its various components, which can now be thoroughly cleaned.
